影片的看点还是有的，但是剧情会有点偏向全是对白而没有突出具体发生了什么事情，会让人觉得有点枯燥和摸不着头脑，看不懂讲了什么。很简单，电影讲了男女主角的爱情追逐故事，虽然它没有表达哪一方有为对方付出，但是那种在剧情感受中的渴望两人发生点关系这一点在前半部分尤为突出，就像非常想买某一件物品一样。影片高潮之一是霍莉和维伽克醉酒后的畅所欲言。霍莉样子特别的可爱，配上她粉红色的苹果肌，她在房间里站不住脚的样子让人赏心悦目和欣赏。影片高潮之二是霍莉在杂货店偷东西，就像她自己所说，她小的时候经常去偷东西，后来长大了为了保持能力，偶尔去偷。所以他们路过杂货店，起了兴趣作案起来。在他们行窃的过程中，店员总是在他们出手后注意到他们，他们也会顺势而为演一场戏，逗的店员无言以对。在这里观影是紧张和害怕的，会为之揪心，当然也会为他们的演技感到幽默。影片高潮之三是在剧情末尾，霍莉和维伽克在出租车上的交谈和吵架，开始时霍莉因为被拘留而对人生感到绝望，她在拘留所遭遇了什么，会使她如此这样，我想这是电影为了警示，也是社会为了警示不要违法，拘留的后果会是毁人生观的。但是因为一个爆米花的奖品“戒指”被蒂凡尼（奢侈品品牌）雕刻上了文字使他们的爱情被挽救，霍莉跑出出租车，街上下着雨，空气潮湿，加上摩登大厦的华丽，很舒适和有氛围感。他们最后在一起，拥抱着，对比之前对这个世界怀揣着恨意，霍莉的状况明显转好。结合影片名“蒂凡尼的早餐”，影片当中从没出现过人物吃早餐的样子，更多的就只是睡醒喝了一杯牛奶，再加上女主霍莉喜欢追随上层社会，物质生活，但这对一个普通阶层来说想要还是太难了，这反应的应该是一种社会存在的状况，那是喜欢和想买奢侈品的心，但总是局促于金钱，会在期待中徘徊。这种状态展现的有种一直在追，却追不到的感觉。但是对于这种状态，影片中通过猫咪趴在绵羊动物标本的身体上可以表达出这是人之常情，自古就存在这个向往物质生活的行为，而猫咪正好反应出人们喜欢有趣和灵动的物品。在傍晚，黄昏映照，霍莉拿着打包袋，纸袋挡不处面包棍那朴实的外表，霍莉站在商店橱窗前观望着商品，许久，她一动未动，好像在欣赏，好像在憧憬，结合上文提到的对奢侈品的追求，或者就像影片中从没有吃过早餐一样，求而不得，碌碌无为。
