Her name also carries a real character, which implies a longing for art, a pursuit of luxury, and an explanation of the central idea of imitating paintings throughout the play. Xu Yanzhen&#8217;s obsession with painting has reached a fanatical level, which can be reflected when she accompanied Jiang Xinyu to the auction site. She would excitedly call out the names of famous paintings to come forward and observe them. From here, the degree of obsession with the mirror is also the phenomenon that the story intends to express. The story of Xu Yanzhen is both a replica and a constantly shining refinement. The film is divided into three parts: upper, middle, and lower. In the first part, she wants to imitate the bamboo and poultry painting of Emperor Huizong of Song, and only has more than ten days to prevent the famous painting from wandering in a foreign land.
